I design experiences that allow for the most information to be delivered to people with the least amount of obstacles.
Currently a designer @ Audible since Nov 2015
I spent the first part of my time at Audible working on Audible presence on Amazon-owned tablet devices. I have a deep understanding of how Audible service integrates with Amazon benefits.
I was the core Audible functional designer on the Audible on eReader project which launched Oct 2017. The project was a year-long initiative that aimed to bring Audible to Bluetooth Kindle eInk devices to celebrate 10 years of the Kindle eReader. Internally, I worked very closely with product and was doing routine stakeholder reviews. Externally, I formed a close partnership with the Kindle designers in Seattle. I helped to concept the original ideas, executed on final design decision, maintained rigorous documentation/requirements, and was an integral part of the QA process up until launch.
I’ve also worked on Audible on FireTV, Audible presence within the Kindle App, supported design for the internal tool used to sync audio files with Kindle eBooks, as well as other emerging business initiatives.

UX Designer @ athenaHealth from Apr 2015 - Nov 201
The project I worked on was a new initiative; the goal was to create a dashboard for clients to monitor their performance. I was responsible for fleshing out the original prototype, working with product managers to understand initial requirements, work with developers to make changes, and worked with UX research to set up a regular testing cadence with our beta users.
UX Designer @ SapientNitro from Jun 2014 - Mar 2015
I worked on the McGraw-Hill Education account which focused on re-engineering their higher education e-commerce store. I was one of the two SapientNitro designers in addition to UX managers. Primary tasks include wireframe creation, client-facing presentations, and feature definition.
UX Designer @ Microsoft from Sept 2011 - Jun 2014
I started as apart of the Microsoft Lync team, the enterprise level communication and VoIP tool. For the first year, I focused on the Lync desktop client for PC where I helped define a motion language for Lync desktop, and finalized our design for shipping in October 2012 including redlines and design QA.
The latter half of my tenure at Microsoft was spent working on Lync and Skype clients for Windows 8 modern experience. Tasks included working on feature backlogs for both clients, polishing new features scheduled to be shipped, and working on envisioning for the future of our products. I used Flash to bring my designs to life and simulate a full-screen Windows 8 experience.
Visual Designer @ Isobar from Nov 2010 - Aug 2011
This was a multifaceted role that included work with motion graphics, interactive websites and applications, and the building of a multi-touch table. I worked on the JBL, Nokia, and Adidas accounts where I supported a variety of visual design and UX needs. Primary job functions included working with senior designers on small features and design documentation.
